Booking Policy

NOTE: for all rooms (other than twin share or group rates) the tariff is based on the first 1-2 guests sharing a king or queen size bed.  If you require a separate bed for each guest, please select the twin share room or advise us directly that you would like to use additional bed(s).  Extra beds not included in the chosen tariff will incur an additional fee of $18 per bed, or $36 per extra guest (for guests not already indicated on the booking). 

Our best available rate can usually be found here on our website.  Our room tariffs are calculated based on the room type, the number of beds that must be made up following your stay, and total number of guests staying.  In event the number of guests has been underestimated, accommodation cannot be guaranteed.

Confirmation of bookings made online through this website requires payment to be made at the time of booking.  The customer must be at least 18 years of age to book accommodation at the Burra Motor Inn.

Booking & Cancellation Policy

Cancellation requests must be advised by telephone and confirmed in writing by post, fax or email.  If you booked directly with our property online, you may cancel your booking by following the cancellation link at the bottom of your booking confirmation.  Unless otherwise agreed:

  1. a non-refundable administration fee of $50 applies to each room booked and subsequently cancelled.
  2. a refund will be issued, less the $50 administration fee, for any deposits paid on a room that is cancelled by no later than 2pm on the day prior to the scheduled check-in date.
  3. full room charges equivalent to the first night will apply to rooms not occupied and/or cancelled after 2pm on the day prior to the scheduled check-in date.
  4. where more than one room has been booked for the same group/party, whether they be on separate bookings or together on one booking, we require 24 hours notice per room booked and subsequently cancelled otherwise full charges equivalent to the first night will apply (for example, if you book 10 rooms, and cancel 5 rooms, we require a minimum 5 days notice otherwise the first full night will apply for each room cancelled).

Note – a goodwill credit may be applied against the cancellation fee at the absolute discretion of management where a room is subsequently resold following cancellation.  Other than where you are rescheduling the booking, a $50 administration fee will still apply.

 

Booking Terms & Conditions

  1. the person named on the booking confirmation is personally liable for the payment of the account and if the person, company or association indicated as being responsible for payment of same does not do so, liability for such payment shall be joint and several with such person, company or association.
  2. the person named on the booking confirmation remains liable for any damages to the room or property therein incurred during the period of the room hire, and due to the actions of themselves or their guests.
  3. pets are not allowed except by Government Authority – if pets are found in rooms without prior permission a cleaning fee equivalent to up to an additional night may be charged.
  4. all rooms are non-smoking – breach of this condition may result in a cleaning fee equivalent to up to an additional night being charged.
  5. other than use of a kettle, toaster or microwave oven in accordance to design, cooking is not permitted in the rooms – breach of this condition may result in a cleaning fee equivalent to up to an additional night being charged.
  6. Burra Motor Inn has a strict no party or excessive noise policy –failure to respect the comfort of other guests staying in the motel may result in immediate eviction.
  7. Refunds will not be given where any person is asked to leave as a result of their behaviour.
