Experienced food and beverage attendant and kitchen assistant required commencing May. Please only apply if you have relevant experience/qualifications.
Primarily working three to four afternoon/evening shifts per week on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays with occasional breakfast shifts for tour groups, and other shifts for special occasions. The successful candidate will be working approximately 15-20 hours per week, with duties split across front of house and back of house in an intimate, well reviewed restaurant in Burra, Jumbucks Restaurant, onsite at the Burra Motor Inn.
Successful applicant will be well presented, reliable, flexible, energetic, well presented, hardworking, and have an eye for detail, good literacy & numeracy skills, experience in customer service, cash handling and with computers. Skills and experience in table service, mixing drinks, operating modern POS systems, and also working as a kitchen hand assisting with food preparation, using commercial equipment, washing dishes, and general cleaning and sanitising are an advantage. RSA Certificate required, ideally successful candidate will have completed food safety, safe work practices training, and COVID Marshal training.
