Jumbucks Restaurant is re-opening soon!

We are currently updating our menu and will post this to our website, Facebook page, TripAdvisor and TheFork shortly before we re-open.  As always, our focus will be on fresh, quality food and friendly service.  We are looking forward to welcoming you back to our warm, intimate restaurant, centrally located onsite at Burra Motor Inn, Market Street, 300m North of the Burra Town Square.

Due to a current major shortage of hospitality workers in the region, we have been closed for several months and are excited to be re-opening.  Seating will be limited as we will be operating with a very small team, so we recommend booking ahead to secure a table.  We will be trading on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from 6pm (closed public holidays).  Please contact us if you are interested in dining in at other times, we are able to host groups at other times by prior arrangement (minimum 12 people with at least 2 weeks notice). 

We are still looking for another person to join our small team.  If you are well presented, reliable, flexible, energetic, well presented, hardworking, and have an eye for detail, good literacy & numeracy skills, experience in customer service, cash handling and with computers, we would love to hear from you.  Skills and experience in table service, mixing drinks, operating modern POS systems, and also working as a kitchen hand assisting with food preparation, using commercial equipment, washing dishes, and general cleaning and sanitising are an advantage.  Ideally, you will have completed food safety, safe work practices training, and COVID Marshal training.
